Yes, I am also part of the Wanderhotels (Its the German word for Hiking Hotels). What’s that? It’s a well-deserved association that brings together places like mine, focusing on activities. So think carefully before just showing up – well, you can still come, of course – password: „Notahikinghotel."

„Bike on“
Welcome to Glemmtalerhof, where the Bergstadltrail, Milke-Line, and more are waiting for brave downhillers and freeriders who are looking for the ultimate adrenaline kick (and aren’t afraid of a few bruises). From May to autumn, you can use the JOKER CARD to rack up vertical meters until your legs cry. Don’t worry, we also have 400 km of trails for mountain bikers and e-bikers, plus 40 huts with cake – because all that sweat needs to be replaced! After a wild day, our bike cellar is ready with a bike wash station, lockers, and space for your “hot rods.”
„Hiking“
Hiking is for boring people? Ha! That's what the folks in mini skirts, tight pants, jeans, and onesies think as they happily roam around here at Glemmtalerhof. Believe it or not, we don't have a dress code! And get this: some people actually walk UP the mountain – crazy world, right?

08:00 AM – Family Breakfast
The smell of fresh bread draws everyone to the table – but the kids? Of course, they’re racing straight to the breakfast chef for pancakes with so much blueberry jam you’ll have to search for the actual pancake.
09:30 AM – Wildlife Feeding
Our youngest at the Kids Club? Totally thrilled. Nothing's more fun than feeding deer – and yes, the nanny has packed lunch for the mountain picnic. Super organized!
12:00 PM – Lunch Break
Enjoying the sun at one of 40 huts while tasting local specialties (or quirky dishes).
02:00 PM – Lake Walk
A small lake for some swimming fun – only slightly bigger than our little ones.
05:00 PM – Alpine Wellness
The kids in the indoor pool, the adults in the sauna. Great views guaranteed.
07:00 PM – Dinner Not For 2
Here, the family can eat casually, just like at home. No need to worry about being too fancy.

Welcome to Saalbach Hinterglemm, where skiing is not just a sport, but a lifestyle – at least for those who don’t end up on their butt on the first slope. With over 270 kilometers of slopes, you’ll have enough space to overtake yourself (or maybe not). The gondola? Just a short walk away – because who wants to sit in a shuttle bus when you can enjoy the fresh mountain air on your way to the lift? Ski holiday made easy, right?
„Hiking“
Winter hiking for boring people? Ha! That’s what people in puffy jackets, snow pants, thermal leggings, and waterproof boots think as they happily trek through the snow here at Glemmtalerhof. Believe it or not, there’s no dress code here! And yes, some even walk uphill – crazy, right? For those who want more than just a path, we’ve got snowshoe hiking. The snow stays untouched, but you won’t! Crazy world, right?
