„I encourage
your creativity”
„A short excerpt from the life of an artist“
I am now officially an artist. Or at least someone who pretends to have talent for a week. Seven nights, a painting course and all-round culinary care - what could possibly go wrong?
The paintbrush becomes my new best friend. Or enemy. It's hard to say. Anita is enthusiastic about my “bold stroke”, I'm more enthusiastic about the daily gourmet meals. After all, painting is a matter of the mind - and creativity flows much better when accompanied by fine wine. Between the canvas, the studio and philosophical conversations about colors, my artistic self-confidence grows. At some point, I actually recognize something in my work - or I simply get used to it. The experience day away from the studio brings the next surprise: art can happen anywhere. And in my opinion, it looks amazingly good. On the last evening, everyone presents their masterpiece. Mine is... well, unique. Anita calls it “unusually expressive”. For me it's called “black edge”. Cheers to art! A week full of color, indulgence and creative escapades - sounds like a plan. Who's painting (and feasting) along?
„Anita Grabher our color philosopher“
Since 1985, she has been painting on anything that doesn't run away in time: Canvas, wood, tarpaper - nothing is safe. Her painting courses at the Glemmtalerhof are legendary: between “Courage for the surface” and “Spach-tel dich frei”, she creates works that... well, impress. Anita says that everyone is creative - we say yes, especially after a glass of wine at the studio brunch. Those who paint with her often find not only their artistic streak, but also paint residue on their shoes. People paint, putty, laugh - and sometimes even marvel. Thank you, Anita, for your colors, your energy and for the good feeling that everything can be art. Even the blob on the wall.
